The Art of Creative Healing: Live Zoom Workshops, Exploring the Healing Power of Creativity.
Studies suggest that engaging regularly in creativity can have a beneficial effect on depression, anxiety, procrastination, low self esteem, overwhelm, flight, fight, freeze and fawn, and many other symptoms of complex ptsd.
I'm a self taught, self employed artist, but I didn't begin to paint until I was 39 years old due to lack of confidence. After many years in this career I realized how much the creative life had acted beneficially on my mental health. Science is now suggesting that creativity is indeed healing.
I am offering 8 week, 90 minute, live zoom workshops engaging with creativity to enhance healing, through more active involvement with the parasympathetic nervous system, the system which comes into play during creative expression and which governs relaxation, regeneration, healing and much more.
In these workshops we will develop a routine of regular creative practice, taking action together as a group, either actively engaging with the other people in the zoom or listening in, whichever feels right for you.
